Celebrate Earth Day with a fresh look at how anesthesia can lead meaningful environmental change. This webinar brings together two experts to explore practical, achievable steps toward greener perioperative care. Join us to learn how small shifts in practice can support a healthier planet.

After participating in this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe how anesthesia practice contributes to environmental and pharmaceutical waste across the perioperative setting.

  1. Identify evidence-based strategies to reduce resource use, minimize medication waste, and understand the environmental and financial impacts of perioperative pharmaceuticals.

  1. Compare the environmental implications of clinical choices, including device selection, medication administration routes, and resource use, using available life cycle and carbon footprint evidence.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Anesthesiologists' Society. You may claim a maximum of 1 hour (credits are automatically calculated).
