Call For Content

The Call for Content is now open.
Submission Deadline is Monday November 17, 2025.

We are pleased to share that the “Call for Content” for the 2026 Annual Meeting will, for the second time, be open to all CAS members. This format allows members to submit independent session proposals without requiring section or committee sponsorship. Our goal is to broaden participation and invite fresh perspectives and innovative topics from across all subspecialties from all CAS members. At the same time, the leadership and contributions of our sections and committees remain essential to shaping the scientific program.

We encourage proposal submissions from members across the country from all member types (i.e., anesthesiologists, Family Practice Anesthetists, anesthesia assistants etc.) and from all member identities and backgrounds. All proposals are reviewed by the Annual Meeting Scientific Program Committee (AMSPC). The AMSPC’s primary objective is to curate a program that offers our members the highest quality content, and we enthusiastically encourage you to submit sessions featuring impactful speakers and content that effectively address the identified learning needs.

All CAS members are eligible to submit a proposal for the conference, however only CAS sections/committees/affiliates are eligible to submit workshops and invite international and/or non-anesthesiologist speakers to participate in their submission.

Next year’s Annual Meeting in Ottawa will run from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026. Due to member demand, moving forward there will be increased programming on the Friday which will focus on providing Section 3 MOC activities including the CAS Expert Insights format, Problem-Based Learning Discussions and workshops.
