A fully bilingual association executive, Stéphanie has built her career helping professional communities translate expertise into influence. For more than two decades, she has led organizations governed by volunteers, funded by members, and entrusted with advancing the interests of regulated professionals.
 
Before joining CAS, she served as Chief Operating Officer of the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, one of Canada's largest real estate boards. Earlier, she spent seven years at Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, where she focused on workforce development and credentialing pathways for more than 40,000 professionals. She also led national membership and communications initiatives for the Canadian Security Association.
 
Across sectors, her work has been guided by a consistent belief: societies and professions are strongest when expert knowledge reaches the people responsible for decisions. Whether supporting workforce development, public policy, governance, or organizational strategy, she has focused on creating the conditions for professionals to contribute their expertise where it can have the greatest impact.
 
At CAS, Stéphanie is committed to ensuring the expertise and perspectives of anesthesiologists are reflected in the conversations, policies, and decisions that shape Canada's healthcare system. She believes the Society's greatest asset is the knowledge and leadership of its members, and that the role of a national association is to convene, amplify, and translate that expertise into meaningful impact for patients, safer care, stronger health systems, and a more sustainable future for the profession.
 
An experienced governance leader, Stéphanie has overseen multi-million-dollar operating budgets and served on several boards herself. She understands both sides of the board table and is passionate about building strong partnerships between volunteer leaders and professional staff. Her approach emphasizes clarity of roles, sound governance, evidence-based decision-making, and disciplined execution.
 
Stéphanie holds an MBA and BBA from Université de Moncton. Inspired by her mother, a healthcare professional and health-system advocate, she developed an early appreciation for the people and institutions that make quality care possible.
 
She lives in North Vancouver with her golden retriever, Ollie, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
