The CAS Rural and Remote Anesthesia Section brings together anesthesiologists and Family Physician Anesthetists who provide care in rural and remote communities across Canada. The Section creates a national community for physicians navigating the unique challenges of rural and remote practice, while supporting collaboration, advocacy and professional connection. It helps develop targeted education and CME opportunities that reflect the needs of smaller and remote hospitals, strengthening access to relevant training and resources for physicians and the patients they serve.
